Canine Conversation.
Canine Conversation; a simple method that will change
your behaviour to change
your dog's behaviour.
Basic Obedience; your dog already knows how to sit down, he doesn't need to be taught, he would have been sitting weeks after birth!! Dogs sit to conserve their energy for when they really need it....clever eh?
Yes you can teach dogs to sit, stay, down, up, left, right......everything needed to pacify their owner at that moment in time to survive! Of course if you have a tasty snack, he will do it all, that doesn't mean that he will respect you in the long term.
So what use is that when you're out on a walk and they see another dog/human/child/car/bike/Alpaca/gremlin?
If your dog doesn't listen to you inside your home, then what makes you think it will listen to you outside your home including the garden, when he's faced with a million and one threats?
Dogs naturally live in packs, they are descendants of wolves (0.02% DNA difference), therefore whether you have a house full of humans, dogs, cats, parrots, llamas......your dog will always see itself as part of a pack.
If you are experiencing problem behaviour, this means your dog needs a strong leader......he hasn't found one within the pack, so he takes the job on himself......you are suddenly a part of his pack, he isn't a part of YOUR PACK!
But before you panic and change the locks, this is where I come in.
Until he finds a strong leader in you, he will not change, regardless of how many walks you take him on, classes you take him too, gadgets you use, or fancy commands.
Learn his language; Canine Conversation and you will have it all; a wonderful happy stress-free companion that will follow you to the ends of the earth because he wants to be with you, not because he has to look after you.
A strong leader is someone who:
Provides for it's pack/family
Protects it's pack/family
Speaks the same language
And above all else UNDERSTANDS it's environment.
This is Canine Conversation.
